What are you doing this Memorial Day Weekend?

I just have to say that we are very close to three young men who are serving our country in all branches of the military. For their service we are grateful.
The site is taking shape. I want to update the photo gallery on a regular basss so that you can see all of the beautiful quilts I have the privelege of working with. They are truly stunning. This weekend I will be working on a Ricky Tims "convergence quilt". This is way out of my box - I usually prefer the very traditional quilt to the art quilt. I will post the results. I am also lucky enough to have a "Hungry Caterpillar" quilt to put on the machine this weekend - thank you Jackie! You will also have to see the finished results of this quilt. I made another version of this quilt for my daughter's first grade classroom. I used a caterpillar design digitized by designer Kim Diamond. It was a perfect fit for the quilt and the kids absolutely loved it.
