Quilting on a rainy day

Posted by on Thursday, June 11th, 2009

I don't know about your garden, but mine has never looked better. Rainy days are perfect for quilting. I'm loading the Gammill this morning with a gorgeous pieced/appliqued, close to king sized quilt. We have chosen a Swirling B2B pattern by Ann Bright complemented with a pale pink thread. I am anxious to see the results. I don't know that I have ever mentioned Web Fabrics in my blog. I have met so many wonderful people through this shop. Claudia helped me choose the fabrics for my daughter's Christmas quilt and Carly (the shop owner) is always welcoming and helpful. She's kind enough to let me display my quilts in the shop. Right know I have the "Feature Presentation" quilt in the shop. If you want to see a picture of it, view the gallery on my website where you will find several shots of it. It's different shades of pink with rose panels mixed throughout. Back to Web Fabrics, it is located in Purcellville, Va. and it is loaded with goodies of all kinds. Carly definitely has an eye for color and carries an extensive variety of fabrics. It is definitely worth the trip. Tell them I said hi!
