I still have some catching up to do!

I finally have this great website that I can change in a moments notice - and not only that, but it is easy to do. I admit to being a little behind. Please be patient.
I still have several quilts to get into the gallery and I am behind on some captions; but getting your beautiful projects quilted comes first. I just took Nancy's Block of the Month quilt off the frame. That quilt really appealed to me because I just am in love with vivid color and batiks. The varigated thread she chose, just set the entire quilt in motion. Take a look at the pictures of if you have some time.
The quilting community in Frederick is very active - not only the shops but also the guilds. Project Linus is a great way to give back to the community with a quilt to comfort a child in crisis.
There is always one of my favorite charities - Conkerr Cancer. This charity makes fun pillow cases for children all over the country who are facing the challenges of cancer recovery. You can find them on the web @ Conkerr Cancer. com. I met the great family that started this movement and they are loving, wonderful people as well as are all of the people that support them. If you need information about them, I have brochures and pillowcase directions. Just drop me a note and I can get them in the mail to you.
