I feel like "Where's Waldo"

Ok, I know that I have not been the best at keeping up with my blog.  I did start my second Bali Bag though, but sadly had to put it in the closet, out of sight, because I have too many other things to do.  I will get back to it eventually.  I also promised to get together with my sister-in-law (whom I have known since childhood) so she could help me get her bag started.  She isn't a sewer but she will great at the ironing board.  That too will have to wait. I went to the sewing/quilting show at the Dulles expo center Friday Oct. 2nd and someone stopped me because I had the Bali bag on my shoulder (it's great for shopping - lots of room for purchases).  Her friend had started one three months earlier and still wasn't finished.  It was fun talking with them - I hope I inspired her to get moving on it!

If you noticed, the slide show of quilts on the front page is a little askew.  I tried to add Brynne's Blooming Nine Patch to the line up but didn't get the pixels right.  I have others I want to add - especially now that we are into another season - but I am going to need a little coaching from my web man.  Hopefully, that will happen this week.

For those patient quilters who are waiting for me to finish their projects (and you know who you are!) I have a good excuse.  I managed to burn my wrist on a curling/straightening iron and was rewarded with a second degree burn.  Talk about painful and ugly - yuck!!  I also got a flu shot the same day I went to show the burn to my doctor and I have literally been asleep since then.  I feel like Rip VanWinkle.  Good news though, today I got up at a reasonable time and I am feeling much better and ready to get going.

Thanks again for all of your support and trusting me with your beautiful quilts!

Keep in touch.
