A Reminder

Just want to remind all of you that are working on holiday projects that you will want to have quilted, to call me to get on the schedule. I am getting to the point that I will soon have to suspend custom quilting and concentrate only on edge to edge to meet the holiday deadlines.
I'm also going to move my Gammill out of the house to a larger location. I need more space and my customers need an easier location to meet with me. The move will only take one day, so I should be back up and quilting by Wednesday of this coming week.
I'm excited about this move - I'm hoping it will put me on a regular schedule and allow customers to come to me to drop off and pick up quilts. So much of my time is spent in the car or on the phone trying to coordinate pick ups and drop offs. I would rather spend more time meeting with and talking with to customers - that's one of the greatest pleasures of this business. Quilters are great people and I always learn something from each and everyone of them.
I am lucky this rainy morning to have a couple of hours to with one of my quilts. It's a simple panel of dinosaurs with just one border. I want to put a cute dinosuar border around it and then an edge to edge dinosaur pattern inside. If this goes well, I think it will be a great way of giving you a custom looking quilt without spending a fortune.
