The Elusive Cowboy.....

You can see for yourself, that I have changed all of the pictures on the "slideshow". It has taken me hours and hours simply because I couldn't decide which pictures to work with; I have so many great ones to choose from.
The one picture that I have just not had success with, despite my many attempts, is the cutest little cowboy that Rebecca has in her "Story Quilt". He just reminds me of one of the characters in the books we used to read as children. You can still find him in Rebecca's gallery file, but I am not giving up until I have him on the front page.
Progress on Amy Butler's Liverpool tunic - just need to do the buttonholes. All of the clothesline is sewn with Bali Pop fabric just waiting to be turned into another Bali Bag. This bag will be my fall, winter version as it is full of dark browns, blues and beiges. I just need to stay away from this computer to finish these projects.
A customer gave me a beautiful butterfly quilt to work on. The butterflies are made from old hankies. Really different. I'll get pictures of that quilt up as soon as I'm finished.
Ok, it's pushing noon, I have finished all of the coffee and I need to get dressed and get some work done. I know it's Saturday, but when you have as many fun projects to work on as I do, you feel guilty sitting in front of the computer all morning.
Like I used to tell my quilting students, the project may look overwhelming but it only takes a half an hour a day to make headway. Those half hours add up to a finished project : )
