Finishing those quilts for Christmas

It is only December 11th and I will have some spaces left for those last minute holiday quilts starting the middle of next week. Usually, if the quilt is not exceptionally large, it can be completed with an edge to edge design in one day or less.
I have managed to decorate some of the house - more to finish this weekend. I do have to get out there in those crowds to get my shopping started. In years past, I would have had all of my shopping completed and wrapped before Thanksgiving - not so anymore. I think as I age, time just creeps up on me - it was August just last week wasn't it. Feels like it!
