Family Christmas

Luckily, the Richmond branch of the family made it through the snow unscathed, however the North Carolina branch managed to "kiss" a knee wall on I-95 and even though they arrived without injury; their car cannot say the same.  One of the Frederick families (other than Steve and myself) hosted the event this year, and I can say without any doubt, that it was one of the most enjoyable Christmas get togethers that we've have had for a long time.

From blowing and shoveling the driveway (several times), the clothes dryer running non-stop from all of the snowball fights and a house full of beloved family members and animals, not to mention two new fiances, things we rockin.

I feel so lucky to be a part of such a loving family.  It is never the gifts that are important, but the treasure of us all being together the few times a year that we can.

I hope you enjoy your families, those both near and far.  Put your differences aside and just appreciate each other for who you are and where you came from.

Don't forget to take time for "pieces of merry stitching".

Linda
