Why is it so hard lately to concentrate?

There are quilts to put on the machine - quilts of all varieties and colors, pictures need to be taken so that I can update the gallery and I want to organize my quilt photos on my new laptop. Then there are the quilts that I am currently working on and oh - remember the second Bali Bag that was underway? I had the handles and all but one button sewn on when I decided that I didn't like the shape of the bag and proceeded to take it all apart. So now I am in the process of shaping it again - hopefully a little better this time. The Maisy quilt is still on the back burner (the school year will be over before Emily will get it into her classroom).
Then of course there is a wedding in March, wedding quilts to finish and friends to keep in touch with. Sigh - actually writing all of that down was helpful - i need to put things in prospective and not get bogged down with the little stuff (like the dust bunnies under the bed and in the corners.) I must get back on the treadmill - that usually helps think and plan - not to mention it is an activity that is actually good for me.
I'm certain that all of you can identify! Every year the time flies by at a faster pace and we rush to just keep up. New thought - I am going to make a purposeful effort to live in the moment and enjoy what I'm doing in without worrying about what is next on the list. I'll let you know how that goes.
Create something everyday - even if it is just a note on a piece of paper (just don't be like me and loose the paper!) That's an entire other subject for another day.
