Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Well it's that day again - don't forget to wear your green - or expect to be pinched! And what a beautiful day it is. I am itching to get outside and dig in the dirt; but before that can happen, the sticks, bark and other debris from this fierce winter have to be cleaned up! This is going to be quite a job requiring a burning permit and some marshmellows : )
I'm trying to resist all of the beautiful new fabric in the shops and start projects with the things that are sitting in my sewing room. I ran across two Moda charm packs that I have had for so long that I cannot remember where they came from! I took the squares and cut them on the diagonal for an interesting twist. Now I have to go looking for come companion fabric for borders and backing. I'll post a picture when it's completed.
Emily's wedding is fast approaching and we are all keeping our fingers crossed that this beautiful weather will hold out for another week and a half. It's unbelieveable that just a couple of weeks ago there were huge piles of snow crushing my azalea bushes. Happily, they bounced right back and will be blooming before you know it.
Well, best get going - I have errands to run and appointments to keep!
