Hershey Pa Show

I visited the Hershey, Pa. quilt show on Friday of last week. I had never been to Hershey before and was really impressed with how nice the facilities were.
The quilts were amazing, even those that didn't get any awards. Judging quilts must be extremely difficult. They are all such wonderful works of art.
I usually only buy unusual gadgets at the shows. I rarely buy fabric (unless it is for another Bali Bag - which of course I could not resist!) I think I am headed to Bali Bag rehab : )
The project "Linus" quilts that I have been working on lately, are simply panels with borders. I find it fun to sew a border around the panel and then do an edge to edge design inside. Perks up the quilt - takes longer - but I love the result. Think about that next time that you are asking me to an quilt an edge to edge pattern. It really does make quite a difference.
Be looking for an email from me soon. I have some questions for you about what you would like me to sell - such as backing fabrics, batting, quilt labels or even perhaps cutting your quilt pieces for you. (I found a really neat cutting system at the Hershey show that would make easy work of quilt piece cutting!).
Well enjoy your warm week ahead, luckily we had a brief rain storm this afternoon. I was just sorry that it did not last longer.
Creating stimulates the brain and is good for your mood! Keep it up!
Linda
