Twitter?

I think Twitter is boring - what are your thoughts?  I'm thinking about giving that up - there are too many other outlets to share information.  Besides, how descriptive can you be with those few words?

Weekend - cool temps. and sunshine!  This is perfect.  I have some grass mowing to do - plants to water and little bit of weeding but it should be fun to be outside for a change.

I am working on my fourth Bali Bag - last one - I hope.  I have taken the handles off of the first Bali Bag three times now - I think I finally have them right.  My thumbs and fingers are bloody and scared - that's proof!!!!  The first bag is still my favorite. I really should have paid more attention to the directions with the first bag - certainly would have saved a lot of aggravation!

An Apple computer vs. a Windows - really confusing; but I think that I am finally getting the hang of it.  Or so I would like to think.  I put the last pictures on the website with the MAC - that's a big WOW for me.  Now, if I can just remember how I did it so next time I need to share some quilt photos i can actually pull this off without so much pain  : ) Old brain - old me?

I really want to get a start on my quilt, but I haven't accumulated all of the fabrics yet.  You know what that means, I should finish my last Bali bag.  My sister in law really did love the one that I made for her.  I just wish that she would use it!  She's afraid to get it dirty.  Silly girl - that is not important - just carrying it is fun!!!

Are you checking out the websites that I am finding for you?  Let me know if you find something interesting.  I love to cruise the web looking for new information.  No matter how long I have been working with fabric and quilts, there are always new tips out there to learn.  I love the new gadgets too!  They do tend to make life easier.

Like I told my friend today, working on a project just a few minutes a day will result in a finished product!  No matter how many things you have to finish!  There is nothing that makes you feel better than tying up loose ends and getting those projects completed.  I can attest to that!!!  Just don't buy a bunch of things to replace the finished projects - try one or two at a time.  Much more manageable.

Have fun and enjoy the weekend - it looks like a good one.

Linda
