Something fun in the making!!!!

I went to Web Fabrics today to pick up some quilts for quilting, one of which was Carly's mother's wall hanging. It is a beautifully hand appliqued little quilt with each square containing a different basket with "food" coming out of each basket. This quilt is representative of the organization that she works with that donates baskets of food for people in need in her country. She just wants the sashing done, so after I have it completed I will share it with you. It is a lovely sentiment as well as a fabulous wall hanging.
But the best part of the trip - I got to shop for some pieces for my "little quilt". I can't tell you how long it has been since I've conceived an idea, drew a picture on graph paper and colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils. I have no idea whether or not I will like it when it is complete - but I do love the fabrics. Picture below : )
