So Close to Christmas!

I have to say thank you to all of those customers who have trusted me with their "Christmas" gift quilts this year. Some I had the opportunity to finish assemblying, others I was able to custom quilt and still more I was able to design with fresh, new edge to edge patterns. It was a wild ride (which is still not quite over yet) but so fun! Just looking at the website slide show, you can see what I was fortunate enough to work with. I just say, keep them coming! I learn new techniques while working on each quilt.
Sitting at the computer tonight, I assembled a Christmas dinner list for my daughter, her husband and mine (the dog is in there somewhere) We spent Thanksgiving in different locations for the second year in a row, so we are ready to really relax and enjoy the Christmas season together.
Now that I am close to being caught up with my Christmas machine quilting, I am brimming with personal ideas for another quilt. I loved making the blue and chartreuse quilt and then custom quilting it with a brand new pattern that had just arrived in my email. I do like the results. My head is full of new ideas just waiting to be released.
I hope that all of you enjoy the holidays, whether it be with family or friends or both. Keep positive thoughts in your mind for the year to come and never stop using your free time to create something wonderful : )
