A lot of things have happened in the new year!

Of course you already know that I have moved my machine to the "sunny" side of the building. What a difference this makes. I have had more customer's visiting me so that they can see quilt samples, choose patterns, and consider thread choices. They can also see the patterns previewed on the Statler computer screen so they decide on what sort of pattern density appeals to them.
This is a win win - I don't have to do so much running (and therefore not quilting) and my customer gets to see my studio and linger over patterns, threads and design set up.
Next big news - I now can offer you the convenience of credit cards - all of them in fact! I have a portable hand held machine that travels with me. Many of my customers find this a convenience in payment choice - perhaps earn points with a favorite card or just decide the payment schedule of my services.
The most obvious change is the front page of the website. Click on the "i" in the upper left hand corner of the quilt and get the name and maker of the quilt (with the individual quilt maker's permission of course) and once I get the feature in place, you will be able to click on the homepage picture and go right to the gallery. What could be easier than that!
Another fun addition in the line of services, are individualized designed quilt labels made by me to match your quilt. You tell me the colors and give me the font you want, and I can print the label on a sheet of fabric for you that is ready to apply to the back of the quilt in any fashion you like.
This particular label was made for Ruth Strauss's quilt that can be seen in the slide show and gallery. I think it was a nice fit. There are many fonts and border patterns to choose from.
I also offer gift cards for those quilting friends that have a special occasion looming. What a perfect fit for a friend that needs a quilt finished.
In the near future, I will be sending out a mass email to detail these exciting events in case you did not have the chance to catch them on the Blog.
Happy quiltiing,
Linda
