Whew, finally finished with the website home page (at least for the moment) : )

I have spent the entire afternoon connecting all of the slide show pictures on the home page to their gallery albums. No more searching. Want to go back to the slide show after looking at the gallery album; simply click on "home" at the top of the gallery page! So simple and hopefully this will cut down on the frustration of finding pictures in the gallery - enjoy!
One more thing I would like to offer - just have to work out the details (my web designer is just the best) - I want to be able to offer free quilt patterns (including cutting directions and fabric yardage) on the website. Keep a look out for this - I think it will be fun, even if you decide you have enough to do!
I have always had an interest in quilt labels - so this is very exciting. I can make you a label, scan your fabric samples into the computer to use in the borders of your label and use whatever font you like to say anything you like! Granted, it is not a heirloom label, but perfect for those of us who sadly let this detail get lost in the shuffle. It is so important to document. I have a customer who labels all of her quilts and also keeps photos and comments in a notebook. I found just such a notebook for this on a trip to New Hampshire and a visit to Keepsake Quilting. But I am sure that something similar is available in any of our local shops. Future generations will appreciate this attention to detail.
I think I have spent enough time working this week - six and one half days! But when you love what you do - it just isn't work.
I want to thank those women who have given me their quilts to finish. I have made so many friends in the last several years, that really is the gift of this job.
Snow and ice is in the forecast. Take advantage!
