Back in the day!

I wanted to show you one my hand made and hand quilted quilts that hangs on the brick wall leading into the kitchen. It's from and picture that I saw in a book - all of the stars have Log Cabin centers. I look at it every time I leave me upstairs sewing room and it is still one of my favorites.
Of course these days I can have a quilt top quilted in one day or less using the Gammill Statler Stitcher. But I will always remember those quieter days when my daughter was napping or I was stitching in front of the TV at night stitching. Hand quilting has gone by the wayside for me, one, because I can't see has well as I used to and two, I just don't have the time/patience to work on something that takes so very long to see a result.
I met a woman named Amy Masser who takes the most beautiful photographs of newborn babies. Visit her website http://babyfacephoto.info/blog/ - you will not be able to stop looking at the pictures : ) Beautiful work Amy!
Enjoy this lovely, breezy Sunday afternoon.
