Lazy Friday

I am enjoying the breeze on the back deck and reading a book - Twyla Tharp The Creative Habit Learn it and use it for Life. I've been running errands all morning and just can't pull myself out of this chair. I had set aside this afternoon for yard work - but here I still sit. I've been trying to take pictures of all of the colorful birds on the feeders, but once I get up with the camera in hand - they fly away. This blue jay took pity on me. Oh you can be sure they are teasing me now - now that my camera is dead.
You know, we should have put up the hammock - I could go for a brief snooze in the shade. But good sense will prevail and I will get up and water the flowers and vegtables on the deck - eventually : )
Enjoy the holiday weekend. Hope you are spending it with family and or friends! I still look forward to the fireworks just as though I were a small child.
