Teddy Bear Parade

Ann Schombert gave me a delightful quilt for a special little girl.  We decided to quilt it with a parade of Teddy Bear faces.  I've only completed two rows, but it is cute.

I was roaming the internet (as I usually do) to see what is new with quilting, looking for patterns and ideas, when I came across a interesting site called www.womenfolk.com.  It discusses many of the "myths" surrounding quilting.  I found it very interesting.  You may want to take a look.

I'm planning on working with Electric Quilt 7 this afternoon to come up with something fun to make.  I always have lots of ideas in my head, but I am not good with taking the time to put them to paper.

Garden is growing - flowers are blooming but there is a lot of watering going on.  Whenever I work in the yard, I am covered head to toe with clothes so as to avoid contact with poison ivy.  I'm careful not to touch the clothes when I put them in the washer (that's an interesting process) and I always wash my hands thoroughly and often.  So can anyone explain to me how I got this nasty patch of poison ivy on the back of my neck?  Yuck!

Keep creating,

Linda
