Bali Bag Twins

I was asked to make a "twin" of the Bali Bag - Fabric Covered Clothesline Tote Bag by "Aunties Two" for my sister in law. Personally liking Batik fabrics by Hoffman, I always use their packages of 2 1/2" strips - but no one in the quilting world had the "Bali Pops" Strawberry fields that I needed.
Slight problem - the Bali Pop had been retired - but my sister in law really loved the colors and I did not want to disappoint. So I searched every online quilt shop with no success and then turned my attention to ebay. As luck would have it, there was one package of "Strawberry Fields" - the colors I needed - up for bid. I must have kept all my fingers and toes crossed, because I won the bid and the fabric arrived several days later.
This is a picture of the bag I was trying to duplicate (one of my favorites) and this is how things are turning out:
Looking pretty good to me! Now, lining, handles and buttons and it is ready for delivery!
