Progress on the baby quilt

Thus far, I have five blocks finished with several cut out and ready to be sewn. Let's review:
Fabric cut and seams sewn.
Don't forget to cut the "ears" off of the blocks.
Here you can see what I found when I was cutting the ears off of this block - a seam sewn shut.
Voila! Only takes two minutes to fix!
Block is finished with perfect points using the technique that we discussed in the earlier blog.
A picture of the finished block from the backside, shows all seams pressed open! This is easy to accomplish with accurate cutting, 1/4" seam allowance, all seams going in the same direction so that they can be ironed opened and the rows of the block sewn together after pinning each intersecting block with a thin pin that will not distort the seams.
