Well, I decided to add a small white border around the squares to separate the squares from the strip border. And below you will see the results! Emily liked it so much, that she "claimed" it for her diaper bag and how can a first time grandmother say no : ) I put a soft flannel on the back of the quilt and used Teddy Bear Parade in a variegated color for the quilt design. I am happy with it and so is Emily - I don't think the baby will have a clue except to grow up knowing he is very much loved!!!!
